Blackberry Cake is Sensi Research’s new take on Blueberry Cake. Blackberry Cake is a 70% indica strain which has been bred from Wedding Cake (a.k.a Pink Cookies and bred from GSC x Cherry Pie), Black Domina and Durban. This is a very fruity strain capable of some high yields and which can be grown with great success outdoors in warm, Mediterranean-type climates.
Blackberry Cake is a versatile strain to cultivate as it responds well to SoG, SCRoG and super-cropping. Strong, compact, bushy plants are relatively discreet in an outdoor garden. Indoors, flowering times are between 55 – 70 days, the exact duration depending on pheno-type and their degree of stretch is limited.. Buds are plentiful, dense and very sticky with resin ans some care and attention may be necessary to avoid mould in humid conditions – good air circulation is recommended as well as dehumidifiers indoors.
The scent of these buds is both earthy and citrus-like with the latter being joined on the palate by creamy and spicy notes. Its effect is warm and relaxing with an overall feeling of contentment and being at peace. The Durban sativa component adds an uplifting euphoria as well as a dash of creativity.
